To be eligible to complete a practical driving assessment, and receive a provisional driver’s licence in Western Australia, an individual is required to complete 50 hours of driving with a suitable supervising driver. The individual must also have a valid learner’s permit, requiring them to be at least 16 years old, take an eyesight test, pass the road rules theory test, show required proof of identity documents and pay a fee for the application, logbook and theory test.
As part of our continued commitment to community, WEL has provided a charitable donation to improve the accessibility of a driver’s licence for Wajarri youth.
“The Desert to Coast program is set to make a big impact on Wajarri youth through access to identification, a driver’s licence, and job opportunities. At WEL we are delighted that we can contribute to Wajarri people in such a meaningful way.”
